Start with your model

Share a print-ready model and tell us its intended use. File preparation or redesign is scoped separately if needed.

Single or multiple colours

Ask about contrasting lettering, colour changes and multicolour parts. Feasibility and cost depend on the model and material.

Size, split assemblies & orientation

Parts up to 350 × 320 × 320 mm can be produced as one piece. When geometry and final use allow it, larger components can be divided into printable sections, produced separately and assembled afterwards. We also review supports and print orientation before production.

Assembly and inserted elements

Where the design allows it, we can combine printed parts with hardware, threaded inserts and other embedded or pressed-in elements as part of the finished component.

MATERIALS

Available materials

Open each material to compare typical uses, strengths and situations where another option may be a better fit.

PLAPrototypes, visual parts & simple indoor use

PLA gives clean detail and a rigid feel, which makes it a strong starting point for prototypes, presentation parts, organisers and many lightly loaded indoor components.

Best forVisual prototypes, housings used indoors, desk products, jigs with modest loads and parts where crisp detail matters.

Consider another material whenThe part will see sustained heat, strong impact, outdoor weather or demanding mechanical loads.

Good to know: PLA is easy to specify, but it can soften at temperatures that other engineering plastics tolerate better.

PETGFunctional parts & everyday durability

PETG combines useful toughness with a little more give than PLA. It is a versatile choice for brackets, guards, housings and practical components that need to cope with everyday handling and some moisture.

Best forFunctional brackets, workshop parts, housings, clips and components where toughness and moisture resistance are useful.

Consider another material whenYou need maximum stiffness, high-temperature performance or a very matte presentation finish.

Good to know: Actual performance depends on wall thickness, print direction, geometry and the exact PETG grade. Threaded inserts and pressed-in elements are also possible when the design allows it.

ABSHousings & more heat-tolerant functional parts

ABS is a familiar engineering plastic for functional components and enclosures. Compared with PLA it can be a better fit where temperature resistance and impact behaviour matter.

Best forFunctional housings, workshop components, prototypes and parts that may see more heat than typical PLA applications.

Consider another material whenOutdoor UV exposure is important, or you prefer the easiest dimensional stability on large flat geometries.

Good to know: Warping and dimensional behaviour must be considered when the geometry is large or highly constrained.

ASAOutdoor, UV-exposed & durable applications

ASA is often chosen when a part needs the practical characteristics of an engineering thermoplastic together with improved resistance to sunlight and outdoor exposure.

Best forOutdoor housings, brackets, covers, fixtures and components exposed to sunlight or changing weather.

Consider another material whenThe application needs a soft or flexible part, or outdoor exposure is not relevant and another material is more economical.

Good to know: Outdoor suitability still depends on load, wall thickness, fastening, temperature and the specific environment.

TPUFlexible, protective & compliant parts

TPU is a flexible filament family used when a rigid plastic would not work. Depending on hardness, it can bend, compress and absorb contact better than the rigid materials above.

Best forProtective pads, flexible covers, grips, bumpers, compliant clips and parts that need controlled flexibility.

Consider another material whenThe part must stay dimensionally rigid, carry structural loads or requires very fast, simple production.

Good to know: TPU hardness varies by grade, so the desired flexibility should be discussed before production.

Material choice also depends on geometry, load, temperature, print direction and the exact filament grade. We review these details before production.

FROM MODEL TO ORDER

Calculate, order and pay online

For standard custom 3D printing, the full ordering process can be completed directly online.

  1. Upload and configure

Upload the 3D model and choose the material, infill and quantity that match your project.

  2. Add to cart and pay

Review the calculated price, add the configured print to the cart and complete payment online.

  3. Technical check and production

We check manufacturability before production. If anything prevents the ordered print from being produced correctly, we contact you before starting.

NEED A HAND?

Need help before ordering

If you are unsure about material, printability or the model itself, send us a short message before checkout.
