3D scanning and digital reference
Capture an existing physical part when manual measurement would be slow or incomplete. Scan data can support comparison, documentation, reconstruction or the next CAD step.
05 / PROTOTYPING
Prototype development for defined business projects: full products, 3D modelling, scanning and practical preparation for the next production step.
Capture an existing physical part when manual measurement would be slow or incomplete. Scan data can support comparison, documentation, reconstruction or the next CAD step.
Build usable geometry from measurements, drawings, reference parts or scan data for a clearly defined purpose.
A damaged or worn original does not always need an exact copy. Where useful, we rebuild the geometry around fit, function and the intended manufacturing route.
Combine printed parts with standard hardware or mechanical elements, then prepare the files and prototype for testing, presentation or later production.
CLEAR PROJECT SCOPE
Prototyping, scanning and CAD modelling are separately priced services. A part that is inexpensive to print may still require significant development time. We agree the scope, deliverables and price before this work starts.
If a usable model already exists, start there. We assess whether it is suitable for the intended process.
Agree the required file type, key dimensions, intended use and any review or revision stages.
We help assess whether preparing a new model makes sense for the project and expected quantity.
SELECTED PROJECTS
Representative prototype and development-style projects that show different routes from reference to result.
PROJECT
A custom internal carrier was developed around real components, cable paths and mounting points. The result helped the customer evaluate layout, accessibility and practical assembly before committing to the next design phase.
PROJECT
This concept assembly combined printed housings with mechanical and electrical elements to evaluate fit, routing and service access. It is a good example of a prototype that goes beyond a single printed part and moves closer to a full product assembly.
PROJECT
For a packaging-development project, a functional positioning unit was prototyped to move and align products automatically before the next packaging step. The printed structure made it possible to test the guides, drive concept, geometry and sensor positions before a final industrial version was prepared.
PROJECT
An existing bracket served as the starting reference for rebuilding key interfaces in CAD. The final prototype geometry was adapted to the required fit and intended use, making further testing and possible series preparation easier.
