For repeat production, material choice affects performance, consistency, cycle time and price. We keep the starting range focused and review alternatives when the application needs them.
PLAStable prototypes & controlled indoor use
PLA can be cost-effective for repeatable indoor parts where heat and impact demands are modest. Its stiffness and clean detail make it useful for fixtures, visual components and straightforward production pieces.
Good to know: For production, we confirm the exact colour and filament grade so repeat orders stay as consistent as practical.
PETGVersatile functional series parts
PETG is a useful all-round production material for functional components that benefit from toughness, moisture resistance and a little compliance.
Good to know: Part orientation and wall design can have a strong effect on mechanical performance and cycle time. Threaded inserts and pressed-in elements are also possible when the design allows it.
ASAOutdoor & UV-exposed production parts
ASA is suited to repeatable parts intended for outdoor or sun-exposed use, where weather resistance is more important than it is for a typical indoor print.
Good to know: We still review fastening loads, temperature, wall thickness and installation conditions before confirming the production material.
Material choice also depends on geometry, load, temperature, print direction and the exact filament grade. We review these details before production.
